Greig Laidlaw

Greig Laidlaw (12 October 1985) is a Scottish rugby union player. He plays as a scrum-half, right now with Gloucester. He has been the commander of the Scottish national group since 2011. A nephew of Scotland scrum-half Roy Laidlaw, he joined Edinburgh in the mid-year of 2006. His first group openings were constrained at first behind Scotland scrum-half Mike Blair, yet in 2010 he marked another two-year contract.

Laidlaw’s metronomic kicking proceeded with the next year, in the 2016 RBS 6 Nations, and saw him complete as second-top point’s scorer; his man-of-the-match winning commitment of 19 helping him while in transit to a title aggregate of 62, that saw him pass the 500 point stamp in the last diversion against Ireland. Greig David Laidlaw, a nephew of Scotland’s amazing scrum half, Roy Laidlaw, has shown up as Scotland chief, equaling David Sole’s record (25) around the same time he denoted a half century of appearances for his nation – a deed he outperformed in the last round of the RBS 6 Nations 2017.
